Well..ol' Garner is moving out of his apartment w/garage into domestic bliss at the end of July.
That means I'll have to move the Hondas back to my house and throw 'em under a tarp somewhere. And one of these days I'll get around to calling whatsisname and giving him his now-working gold Honda.
I finally got my 500 inspected and licensed. I have been able to get a few short rides in around town, but have been busy with camping and drinking and rockin', so no long-distance rides yet. I also have to buy another helmet so's the ol' lady can ride. It was cool, though - I bought a new battery, threw it in, and a few cranks later the damn thing was running great. Even with year-old gas in it.
As far as the jobby-job goes, my current one is getting more ridiculous every day. My last paycheck bounced. It ended up costing me around $55 in fees by the time I finally noticed. I should keep better track of my account, I guess, but who expects their paycheck to bounce!? I have applied and got all my paperwork to the Electrician's Union, including birth certificate, high school transcripts, etc...the aptitude test is sometime after the July 4th weekend. I have been trying to brush up on some Algebra in the meantime, and it seems like it's coming back to me fairly easily. I'm crossing my fingers, but I might be out of a job way before I even know how this apprenticeship thing will turn out. I'll definately miss certain aspects of my current job, but...oh well, onward and upward!
